Under this program, income support of 6,000 per year in three equal installments is provided to small and marginal farming families who own both land / land holdings of up to 2 hectares. State government and UT administration identify farm families eligible for support according to scheme guidelines and transfer funds directly to beneficiary bank accounts. Farmers who have registered under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are advised to keep an eye on their bank accounts as the government will start transferring the next installment of Rs 2000 to beneficiary bank accounts from August 1st. A step by step guide to verifying the PM-Kisan installment
- Go to the official government website – https://pmkisan.gov.in/
- Now look for the “Farmer’s Corner” section on the home page
- Select the option “Beneficiary statusâ€. Here, the beneficiary can check the status of his request. The list will include the farmer’s name and the amount sent to their bank account.
- Now enter your Aadhar number or your account number or your mobile phone number.
- Then click on “Get data”

- Go to the farmers corner
- Click on the list of beneficiaries.
- Select your state, district, sub-district, block and village.
- Tap Get Report.

- Visit the official PM Kisan Samman program website – pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on the farmers corner option
- Click on new registration
- Enter the Aadhaar number and captcha code
- Provide details of your land.
- Click on the submit button.

- Proof of address
- Passport-size photograph
