valiant Patch 3.0 introduced a new feature in the hero based shooter game, Account Leveling. Riot Games added the feature in the hopes that it would encourage players to spend more time on their primary accounts, instead of creating smurfs.
Before Act I Episode 3, once you were ranked Immortal or Radiant, you didn’t have to do anything. You can try to earn a place in the leaderboards if you are one of the best players in your area. But that’s not a realistic goal for most players.
In his explanation of leveling of accounts, Riot says this new feature is a way to improve valiantprogression system. That seems alright to me. Other ways to advance your characters and your in-game account are always welcome. However, the only thing you get by upgrading your account level in valiant is a higher number and a different border on your player card.
If the goal of account leveling is to prevent smurfing, it will fail. Players care much more about their rank and cosmetic items than the number and border of their player cards. In particular, when the level of the account only reflects the time you have spent playing. It has nothing to do with skill or any other activity worthy of the name.
Fortunately, Riot says he will continue to look for ways to improve the system. I can think of a few things he could add. Cosmetic rewards, titles, Radianite points, Valorant points and, if you really want to get creative, exclusive access to content. If you value the rewards from the higher account levels, people will chase them away.
How does account leveling work in valiant
Your account level rewards you for the time you invest in the game valiant. It shows your loyalty to the game. The good thing is it doesn’t matter which game mode you play. The more you play, the more you increase your account level. And every 20 levels your border will change.
You improve your account by earning Account Points (AP). The longer the match, the more AP you gain. Apparently, your score also contributes to the amount of AP you earn. So if you win, you get more. You also get bonus AP for your first win of the day. One account level equals 5,000 AP.
valiant PAs will be rewarded retroactively. So, all the time you have invested in the game so far will count. Although the valiant The Twitter account admitted that long-time players may not be at the right level. He is working on a solution that should be applied in a future patch.
